SAFETY IS A RIGHT
SAFETY IS A RIGHT is a grassroots campaign about giving everyday Vancouverites who don't feel safe a voice.
WHO WE ARE
SAFETY IS A RIGHT is a coalition of concerned citizens established by the Vancouver Police Union (VPU). With public safety the number one issue in the 2022 municipal election, it is critical we stand united and demand action from our elected officials.
The VPU represents more than 1,450 front-line police officers, jail guards, and Special Constables of the Vancouver Police Department.
We are committed to protecting and promoting the interests of our members as they serve the citizens of Vancouver 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
